Excellent local brewery in Walnut Creek. Open during the pandemic, nice outside seating. Order something to eat along with your beer and enjoy. Great spot to enjoy the day after a beautiful ride. Lots of options to eat from nearby restaurants, such as Mexican, Burgers, Mediterranean, sea food, ...

Awesome new space in a shopping center w/ a bunch of food options. Which is great since you can bring food in there :) The beer selection was varied, they had cans, growlers and crowlers as well. A standout was the well appointed outdoor section w/ cushioned seating as well as tables and bar height areas.

This place is awesome. One of my fav SD breweries. Try the Grapefruit Solice if you’re an IPA fan. They also have a blood orange IPA called “Into the Sunset” that’s legit good. Their stout is also awesome, and their kolsch is super clean.

Fun place to hang out in Walnut Creek. Off the beaten path from the mess of downtown, parking is readily available. Great beer, over a wide selection, and a great patio with occasional live music. No food menu, but lots of food choices from neighboring restaurants if you get hungry (and they deliver to you as well!).

Had a perfect pale ale after a long day. Staff was super friendly, straight to the pour, beer in belly in under 2 min. Are there an other criteria? Price..a bit bitter. .but who's fault is that? Not the folks at Hess.

Mike Hess Brewing is the 35th largest craft brewer in California. That is something to brag about. Something else to brag about is, winning a gold medal at the 2014 World beer competition with their Double Rye IPA and a bronze at the 2016 Los Angeles international beer competition. My favorite Mike Hess beer is the Sunset Blood Orange IPA. It's freshing and delicious. This is a good date spot. Grab a cold beer, then head outside to enjoy the cozy couches. This place is very nice, the staff are nice. Everything was clean and neat. They were taking precautions for covid-19 very seriously. Food was ok. Mainly the atmosphere really made a good impression they sell cute shirts, I bought one for $20. Overall the beer was great had a good time.

My go to brewery whenever I’m In the Area. They have a wide variety of beers, craft beers. Awesome crew, friendly and very accommodating, order flights and you get a free glass, and you can bring it and have it refilled for a discounted price. I believed Monday through Thursday, place is also a very dog friendly. They also have an outdoor space, highly recommended if you are in the area.
